It May Be Wimbledon But It’s Also About Life…

  • 1:4 min

Yesterday, I had the joy of spending the first day of Wimbledon, with the added bonus of watching on Centre Court, Carlos Alcaraz defend his title in a gripping 5 set match against Fabio Fognini. The sun was blazing (as you’ll know if you were anywhere near London!) and the energy was electric – a true celebration of passion, discipline, and grit.

Earlier, I watched Frances Tiafoe. His story – rising from humble beginnings to the world stage – is a masterclass in mindset. It reminded me that progress isn’t always linear, but resilience, preparation, and self-belief can rewrite even the most unlikely script.

Like in tennis, success in mediation isn’t about overpowering the other person. It’s about presence, poise, and perspective. The real wins come when you stop reacting and start responding.

And just like players have a coach in their corner, my role is to help my clients prepare, stay grounded under pressure, and see the bigger picture – so they can make clear decisions and create lasting outcomes.

Wimbledon may be about sport, but the lessons are universal.

If you’re facing a situation that feels like a high-stakes match – personally or professionally – I’d love to help you step back, reset your strategy, and regain your advantage.
