What’s really driving your reaction?

  • 0:50 min

In every dispute, there’s more beneath the surface than what’s being said.

Think of it like an iceberg: what we see — the arguments, justifications, the need to be “right” — is only the visible tip. Beneath that lies something softer and far more significant: the desire to be understood, respected, and valued.

When clients (or we, as professionals) respond from ego, we protect ourselves. But when we respond from love — not the romantic kind, but the human kind — we create space for understanding.

As a mediator, I often see that once the ego quiets, dialogue flows. The tone changes. Solutions surface naturally.

Love doesn’t mean surrendering; it means responding with calm curiosity rather than defence.

If you or your clients are navigating a situation where emotions are clouding judgement, a Power Hour can be a transformative reset — a space to explore what’s really driving reactions and to learn practical ways to respond with clarity and care.
